National Service Scheme (NSS)

About the NSS

NSS aims to develop social responsibility and community service among youth through various activities and initiatives, focusing on:

NSS promotes community development projects, such as education, health, and environmental conservation.

NSS fosters volunteerism and selfless service, instilling the motto "Not me, but you" among its volunteers.

NSS conducts social awareness campaigns and initiatives, promoting national integration, unity, and social cohesion among communities.

NSS Eligibility & Enrollment

- Generally, students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses are eligible
- Students from all disciplines and years can join NSS
- Typically done through the college's NSS unit or student affairs department
- Students can contact their college's NSS coordinator or student council for more information
