About the Cell

The Other Backward Class (OBC) Cell is a dedicated group within our institution that aims to support and meet the needs of individuals from Other Backward Classes. Its mission is to ensure that OBC members feel included, supported, and represented in various facets of academic and campus life. This cell organizes activities and programs designed to raise awareness, offer assistance, and advocate for the welfare of OBC individuals. Furthermore, it acts as a forum where concerns and issues pertinent to the OBC community can be voiced, discussed, and addressed, with the goal of fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment within our institution. The OBC Cell takes a particular interest in managing all matters and challenges related to the OBC students of the college..


Objectives of OBC Cell

To aware the OBC students regarding various scholarships program of state and central government.

To council and guide OBC students about various issues and help them to manage academic activities.

The OBC cell in the college actively works towards resolving problems specifically related to OBC students.


Functions of OBC Cell

Awareness : Inform OBC students and staff about government schemes, scholarships, and benefits.

Support : Assist OBC students with counseling and guidance for any issues they may encounter.

Reservation Policies : Ensure that reservation policies for admissions, employment, and promotions are adhered to.

Scholarships : Aid in securing scholarships and financial assistance for OBC students.

Skill Development : Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and job preparedness.

Grievance Redressal : Resolve complaints regarding discrimination or unjust treatment.

Data Management : Maintain records of OBC students and staff to improve the execution of welfare initiatives.

 Assistance with internships, job opportunities, and interviews. Scholarships
 Financial support to cover tuition fees and other expenses.
