WOMEN GRIEVANCE CELL

Objectives

To give an awareness about Gender Sensitization, Prevention and Prohibition of Sexual Harassment of Women Employee and Students.
To provide confidential and supportive environment for Women members of the campus.
To provide the Students access to immediate, hassle free recourse to have their Grievances redressed.

Rules for Women Grievance Redressal Committee

To deal with all the genuine grievances of students and staff of the college.

All complainants should file their grievances either by writing in paper to the committee or by online in MIS.
The committee will meet according to the need for resolving the grievances.
To take conclusive decision and submit its recommendations to the deciding authority to take action for alleged grievances.
The student/staff shall bring up his grievance in a prescribed format immediately to the grievance cell without fail.
The number of grievance settled or pending will be reported to the Principal/Director once in every month.

Facilities

Safety and Security
In order to maintain Safety and Security to the Girls’ students and Woman faculty, a committeehas been constituted for Redress of Grievances. Our Internal Compliances committee stays alert all the time to prevent any sexual abuse towards students and female workers. We also focus on preventing this kind of harassments by using secret monitory services, which keep a keen eye on the entire campus.

Counselling
The major objective of the counselling center is to facilitate Academic, Emotional, Social andcognitive development of the students hence to empower them in their learning and personal development. Other than Students, Parents and Teachers are also getting the benefits from the counselor in order to pave the right path from the students.

A spacious hall is arranged for the wellbeing of the girl students with all the necessary amenities such as fans, bed, provision for drinking water etc. The students can utilize the hall throughout the academic timing of the campus depending upon their physical and mental conditions. They have various Indoor game facilities like Table Tennis, Carrom and Chess.

Health clinic
The health clinic is another facility provided to the students for treating the ill health. The clinic is functioning in all the working days and a full time nurse is appointed to take care of students while a physician is available in two working days (Monday & Thursday) per week. First aid and other basic facilities are arranged including beds, wash-rooms etc.

Sports
The girl students are given priority in both in campus and off campus events. All the students are given opportunities for participation in indoor as well as outdoor games at college level, zonal level and state level.
