About the Club

Literati, the literary club of Mar Ephraem College of Engineering and Technology, stand as a vibrant hub for students with a passion for literature and creative expression. Committed to fostering a love for words and storytelling, Literati provides a platform for aspiring writers, poets, and literary enthusiasts to come together and explore the boundless realms of language. Through engaging discussions, workshops, and events, the club cultivates an atmosphere that encourages intellectual discourse and the exchange of ideas. Whether delving into classic literature, contemporary works, or the compositions of its own talented members, Literati strives to ignite the flames of imagination and ignite a love for the written word within the college community. Objectives of Literary Club

Cultivate an appreciation for literature in its various forms, including fiction, poetry, drama, and non-fiction, among club members.

Provide a platform for members to improve their writing skills through workshops, writing competitions, and collaborative projects.

Promote a reading culture by organizing book clubs, literary discussions, and related activities to encourage members to explore diverse literary works.

Plan and execute literary events such as author talks, literary festivals, and poetry slams to engage the college community and showcase literary talent.

Provide opportunities for creative expression through activities like poetry recitations, storytelling sessions, and open mic events.

Offer a platform for members to showcase their literary talents, whether through writing, public speaking, or performing arts.

Embrace technology to extend the club's reach, such as maintaining an online presence, organizing virtual events, and leveraging social media for communication and promotion.
